SSA users can explore the value of data freely, without the need for IT support or expert knowledge. Standard tooling is in place, and training, documentation (how-to’s) and guidelines are available to quickly get up-to-speed as a new user.

SSA implementations enable role-based control for user management, data governance, and cost visibility.

Databricks Workspace

SSA contains a Databricks workspace which acts as the main working environment for users. This is the analytics space for building, deploying, sharing, and maintaining enterprise-grade data, analytics, and AI solutions at scale. It interfaces directly with existing cloud resources. From the Databricks workspace, users can access all data they are allowed to see. It also contains storage space for personal project data, and a ‘room’ where team members can collaborate effectively.

Implementation, support & training

During implementation we work closely with key users and IT teams to configure and finetune the platform and help people get started.

SSA contains an online portal with detailed documentation on ‘getting started’, training modules, and practical information on available tools. Further, it offers the possibility for existing users to upload How-To video’s for colleagues that are new to the platform. This way, we support the creation of a user community that quickly becomes self-supporting.

For more experienced users, or people that want to learn more about concepts such as CI/CD, governance, and data sharing, technical documentation is readily available.

Daily data analytics in three steps

SSA brings structure in data analytics. There are typically three steps to create business insight from available data.

Define a use case and request access to necessary data
Process and analyze data using a variety of trusted tools, and test use case validity
Share insights in Grafana, PowerBI or Spotfire and act upon these insights

With these three simple steps, data analytics becomes a structured process that supports the efficient creation of business intelligence using anything from simple visualizations to interactive dashboards.
